Default Xperia Case!!!

Hey everybody,

Since I'm still in High School and I have a subject in which I have to sew a carry-it. It can pretty much be anything that carries anything. So I decided to make a case for my soon-to-be-released XPERIA X1. Could anyone give me any advice on the size of the material and if I should have a hole for the screen so I could use it even when it's in the case?

Maybe you have another great idea. I would like to hear them.

I suggest a holster-like case that you take the xperia out of to use. Not one that you leave the device in while using. It would be difficult to accommodate the sliding screen if you did the latter.

It's a ****in phone. Forget the cases, just put it in your pocket... It'll get scratches no matter what you do!

Oh and for the project, make a beer vest or just a simple bag or a purse. Use recyled materials preferably (like old tires/safety belts/plastic junk, whatever you can sew), I heard thats hip nowadays.

- Use black suede

- Add a sidepocket for your earphones

Hope that helps

I'd buy me an army to protect my phone =)

Or just use a pocket... You know, like something you can find on a jacket =P

I've stopped using cases for my phones and devices as they add bulk, and I put them in my pocket and nothing else with it, so to minimise scratches.

If you're making your own case, add slots where you can keep additional memory cards, a stylus or those combination pen-stylus, and finally, a cover for the screen that is stiff and can be flipped back so you can hold it without getting in the way.

Leather is always nice, but suede or neubuck will do too. Neoprene is also great and you can make it with funky colours.

TWO WORDS

Invisible Shield

Works like a charm, no bulk, adds glossiness... all positives !
