Xperia X1 Case by Piel Frama

For those who may not be familiar with Piel Frama (Leather PDA cases , Pocket Pc cases , pda cases , Smartphone cases . Leather cases Manufacturer.), they are makers of fine leather cases for phones, PDAs, iPods and PMP. They are hand-crafted and fit the devices like a glove.

I have been in contact with Piel Frama in Spain, about making a case for the Xperia X1. They are very keen to do so, but need to have access to an actual unit to take precise measurements, mouldings and fittings.

Piel Frama will need to have the unit for 1 week to measure and design a perfect case for the Xperia X1. Making a case will take another 15 to 20 days.

If you have access to a dummy or late prototype X1 unit, and able to loan the unit to Piel Frama, please PM me with the details and your contact.

Piel Frama makes very nice cases. These are just as good in quality and I like the style:

I simply bought the ICE-40 case made by sony erricson. Too bad i only have the case right now and no phone lol.

Well, the thing about the cases from SE is that they are just pouches, which works fine for some people. But I would like to have a case that you can just flip open and use the X1 directly, with the case still attached.

So that leaves case makers like Brando, PDair and Kreusel, who make good cases, but I want something a bit more special for something as classy as the X1. So you turn to fine makers like Vaja, Noreve Saint Tropez and Piel Frama.

Vaja has gone towards universal pouches (such a shame!!), so no go for me.
Noreve says they are going to release a case for X1 in 20 Oct, so we can wait for that too.
Piel Frama has been my favourite since my Palm days, and their craftsmanship is very good. They are talking to SE for the measurements, and I would like to help them where we can.

Idk, I don't like how those other cases have a big flap hanging off of it. I simply need a pouch and invisible skin.
