Default Do not waste your money on Invisible Shield!

Ok so I bought invisible shield a little while ago in hopes that on days I didn't want to use my ice-40 case, I could carry the x1 with worrying about scratches etc. I first applied it to the battery cover as this is an easy are to apply on. As I was laying it on, I noticed it wasn't completely center so I lifted up the shield in hopes to reposition it slightly. To my surprise, the shield actually ripped a couple of the letters off of the Xperia logo!! Now I have no choice bu to leave it on or else the logo will be missing letters. Also there are no pieces included which cover the chrome sides of the phone, which imo are the easiest to scratch apart from he screen. Also, I doubt that the shield will adhere well to the somewhat rubbery texture of the two edges of the phone so I have not applied any other part of the shield to the phone because I am very disappointed with it. What a waste of $25.

Hello,

My name is Chris and I am an official ZAGG representative. I'm very sorry that you have had a negative experience with the invisibleSHIELD. Our customer service team is top-notch and willing to help in any way they can. If there is anything that we can do for you, please feel free to send an email to evangelist at ZAGG.com. We will do our best to make you happy. Just out of curiousity, how much solution did you use during installation?

Thanks!

If you could send me some pictures of exactly what happened and contact me directly, I will see what I can do to help you out. I don't think the situation is as dire as it sounds. We have had millions of customers install the shield successfully and literally hundreds that have bought the invisibleSHIELD for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. Please email me at evangelist@zagg.com. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing some pictures.

that's extremely disconcerting to know that if you decide to replace/remove the invisible shield, that the logo will come off. anybody else have this issue?

Oh no. I've also purchased the Zagg invisible shield for my x1. It hasn't arrived yet, and now I'm a bit concerned.

Just checked my mailbox, and I've received it. I'm a bit hesitant to install it now.

Ok, I just did the install. It was very difficult compared to the ones I've done before, but this is my first zagg product.
Right now, I'm not really impressed, but I need to give this 24 hours to cure before I can really say for sure.

n4v1n's problem (xperia logo coming off) did not apply to me. HOWEVER, half the Sony Ericsson logo came off. I can see how the xperia logo would've came off because this thing is really sitcky.

I've got tons of bubbles and bumps on the back cover, but the instructions say that this will go away after 24 hours.

I thought that the invisible shield would cover the whole front as well, but the buttons and side aluminum was not covered. Buttons are not that big of a deal, but the side aluminum is!

At the top, it's just a disaster. It looks really ugly is all I can say.

The corners are the biggest problem. Air bubbles keep popping back in from these places.

The invisible shield does protect the chrome. but n4v1n probably missed it because the pieces are small and very difficult to apply.

Right now, the shield looks really bad (ugly), but like I said, I'll make the final judgement after 24 hours.

I'll be posting some pictures after this.
