Default Turning Off Wayfinder

I've just recently started using Wayfinder, which is nowhere near as good or useful as TomTom but it's free and does a good enough job. The problem is it is quite battery intensive, and i cannot seem to find a way of turning it off when i have arrived at my destination without turning my X1 off and then on again. Just pressing the 'x' in the corner does not do the job. Anyone have any ideas?
