| Are you using the latest versions? Cause I have tried those (trial) and didn't like them that much, personally. I like the version prior to that.

| I played with various packages from SPB. SPB Backup - A must if you regularly install software that might cause conflicts. It already saved me once when I put HTC's TF3D on and it kept crashing my phone. SPB Mobile Shell - I found that I much prefer the SE Panel Version. After installing the full version, I lost access to Panels, which I didn't get back until I removed the package. SPB Traveler - A must if you travel, or eve just for the unit converters (very nice). SPB Weather - I didn't bother as the weather component that gets installed with the SE Panel works great. SPB Insight - Much better RSS functionality than the one integrated in the SE Panel (be careful with data settings or end up spending a fortune on DL's - I have mine set to WiFi only). SPB Phone Suite - Installed, I guess its good, haven't noticed much real help though it does add the ability to reply to calls with SMS. SPB Phone Tools - Tabs on IE (I'm using Opera mostly), useful added functionality to File Explorer, the Close Button tool didn't work on my phone - instead it prevented the normal close button from working on the touch screen at all, forcing me to close with the OK button. SPB Wallet - could be very useful, but I have that fear of losing my phone one day and if I were to use wallet to its full potential that would mean easy identity theft. SPB GPRS Monitor - I think there's a new version as of last week - useful if you use alot of GSM Data. SPB Keyboard - much better than the default keyboard, keeps me from having to slide open for simple tasks. one added necessity I found: Xperia Tweak 2.0 - you can find it on the XDA forums or Google it. It opens up a lot more functionality on the phone, but I also found that it speeds up the interface quite a bit. |

SPB Wallet also has a desktop app, and it syncs. So no problem if you lose your phone. SPB Keyboard I cannot recommend. I prefer the better TekSoft Fingertouch PRO (Teksoft Fingertouch PRO, by FAR the BEST Pocket PC keyboard!). They also have a free version, but I paid for the PRO and it's really good. Another alternative would be the Touch HD keyboards you can get on xda-developers. [edit] actually: Cootek TouchPal is even better. Last edited by i_will_not_buy_iphone : 01-27-2009 at 02:49 AM. |

| Installed SPB Pocket Plus, latest version, plus some icons to enhance its looks. It's a great software as it gives you freedom to arrange and change icons. I have downloaded it from xda-developers. I think you should give it a try |
