Thumbs up Google Maps Upate!

Google has updated their Google Maps application for Windows Mobile, and now you can have Street View (where it is available) right in your Xperia X1!!

Other general improvements include a cleaner screen, dedicated "My Location" button on the main screen, faster and more responsive overall.

Just be forewarned that Google Maps is best used with an unlimited data plan or Wifi. With satellite maps or Street View turned on, it downloads HUGE amounts of data.

Just download the new Google Maps application and install. The old version will be removed and replaced with the new one.

Try it in IE, a lot of mobile sites prefer it. I've had issues with Opera and mobile-page downloads before.
