 WMDC 6.1 and bluetooth | |
I have Windows Vista x64 Home Premium SP1 and installed Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 64 bit version. I can connect my X1a via the USB and form a partnership with the PC just fine. However I am unable to connect to WMDC via bluetooth. I have a Silicon Wave bluetooth dongle that is completely recognized by Vista and using the MS bluetooth stack. The Windows Mobile based device support driver is loaded under bluetooth radios on the PC and I can pair just fine with the PC. I see activesync service profile listed and selected in both the X1a and the PC. But when I select on the X1a Activesync app to "connect via bluetooth", I only get a message that I cannot connect using bluetooth to a PC that supports Active Sync. I have used my X1a with XP and bluetooth to Activesync 4.5 before successfully. I have searched online and seen many others have felt my grief, but have found no working solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
