They are reputable.

Heres the reason if you're wondering:

1. I live in new york city and I've been to the store.
2. My sister and brother in law works there.
3. They have several stores/departments that take up the ENTIRE side of a city block.
4. ALOT of people shop there, celebrities+tourist.

I asked my sister to check it as soon as I saw the webpage, she confirmed that it is IN ORDER. Will be coming soon, but theres no arrival date on the system. I had her ask the buyer if they will be bringing in the black model, the buyer told her that they wont be getting the black one for the time being.

So I'm stuck with either getting the black one from a dealer in the city OR get the silver one and have my sister get me the phone with her employee discount.

I've been getting their catalogs longer than I can remember - and I have not read any negative stuff about them on other forums. I personally would not hesitate to order from them.

I'm Canadian as well and bought from J&R before. You'll be hit with a massive brokerage fee. Last time, I paid around 100$ on top of the final price of the receipt.

J and R sells a LOT through amazon marketplace, they're definitely a reliable seller.

J&R is awesome. They handled shipping on my Bravia XBR with the utmost care. Even had a white glove gentlemen deliver it via van to my work. Not a scratch on the box.

Great prices too.
