Default HTC Touch Diamond?

The HTC Touch Diamond should be announced anytime now. What do you all think about it?

Good specs but no querty keyboard (dealbreaker) and ugly design. I hope they will release a version with a "normal" back and querty.

i like it, but i need the qwerty and stylus .

With the x1, i'm already getting ready to accept the slide out qwerty( current use a treo750 and love the front keyboard) ... forget about getting rid of it all together.

I use my phone more for business. the X1 is the best mix in my opinion.

Well the HTC Raphael looks just like the Diamond but with a slide out QWERTY. But i would still get the X1 simply because its got the optical joystick, 3 in. screen instead of 2.8 (bragging rights) and the panels interface. I'm sure they're both at the same price point.

i just took a better look at the diamond on youtube, and i'm very impressed with what HTC has done with the interface, and the speed it runs. The way they incorporated opera as the web browser, the call list etc... very impressive.

I really hope sony comes through on the software side at the same level for basic phone functions along with the panel interface.

The release date for the diamond is a lot sooner (June) rather than the XI (unofficially September).

The negative buzz about the Diamond is that it has no memory card slot and the battery capacity is a bit low.

The second: The Touch Diamond has a great feature built-in with its accelerometer. When you receive a call, you can just set your phone face-down on the table and it will ignore the call. That's really perfect. They've taken a common social cue, namely:

Touch Diamond has an accelerometer while Xperia 1 is still in a dark side. To all Windows Mobile users, a full upgrade to Windows Mobile 7 is important, I hope that Sony Ecrisson will show an interview and confirm that Xperia 1 has an accelerometer.
Anyone agrees with me?

And I read in wmexperts that "Windows Mobile 7 Device by the End of 2008?(!)". Good news from Microsoft??

I saw this on Engadget, I think that the X1 will most likely not receive a WM7 update as they said before, that there will be other products down the line, and you know Sony, they love to milk everything.
