Sym is for symbols. Like punctuation. Not the same as ctrl. Ctrl would allow you to do ctrl+C and other such shortcuts with the keyboard. Very handy because many programs dont have a copy/paste context menu, but ctrl c/v always works.

I already have it planned to assign symbols key (smiley) to Ctrl to function as Ctrl
I love the X1 keyboard already although I didn't try it physically but it is wider which you will feel the beauty of that when you start using.

The Raphael's TV Out is a very good addition
I wish I can hear the same on the X1

Raphael's screen is a no go for me, been using a friend's iPhone for a couple of days in comparison to my TyTNII screen is much nicer.
Would definetly go for the larger screen.

As for the accelerometer, I really hope we can have that on the X1; a very nice addition and I care to have it more than a TV Out; well both would be better

The Raphael will also include Opera 9.5, which is a huge selling point for me since I use the s60 browser so heavily. PIE is just not up to speed yet. I know MS is working on releasing a desktop based PIE with silverlight. Not sure we will be able to upgrade the X1 to this version. Might just have to buy Opera 9.5 separately.

No quad-band GSM / tri-band HSPA

Lost all interest in the HTC Touch Pro. The X1 is the only player in the game at the moment. Strange and lucky how SE is managing to keep quad-band GSM and 1900 HSPA in the mix on all variants, but HTC doesn't have one 850GSM 1900HSPA announced. Hmmm

latin/n.america version "coming later 2008" whatever that means. Seems like a weird idea to delay that with the iphone coming - maybe they will coincide with the X1 release anyways. I'd really love to compare the touchpro and X1 side by side.
