| If you can do nice changes in XML I might attack some when I finally buy my phone. I took a look at the HTCHomeSettings.xml from the TouchFlo-port to X1 and it doesn't seem too hard. I don't know what all the parameters is about, but at a first look it's quite simple. |

| messed around with the native panel examples and one have to do pure win32 code to do stuff so the time from start to where one got something to show and that works takes a bit longer then in .net and even old microMFC but then many developers write in pure win32 anyway because that's where the speed is to be found on windows mobile |

| youtube panel itune remote panel and maybe play local m4a stuff skype / general IM panel 2th life panel (that is if it was not a general fail these days) joost panel google earth panel hp48 emulator panel is would i would make if i had more time and is doing mostly .net these days and panels are pure win32 so it takes a lot more mucking about to get something up and running but i will kick my own end to make something sooner or later btw feel free to steal my ideas |

| Just my 2 cents... Let's not create a panel when an application would do the job just fine. A Panel is essentially a Today screen replacement. It creates an environment, a purposeful portal for your device. It may perform a function or a set of functions and still allows access to your other applications and services. |
