only login issue i had was because
my home
network the router is not the net providers
so i have my gateway and dns maualy set
which cause problems when i connect to other
networks where the router is the gateway and provide the dns

other then that the panel works great

Have you tried typing your password with the keyboard and with the on-screen keyboard?

Saw this at XDA Developers

Straight from the Sony Ericsson Panel Application page on facebook by Magnus Eriksson:

"Information: We are working on a new bugfix version of the panel. It will improve battery life and stability. It will also fix some connection problems and performance issues. The new version will soon enter test phase and after that it will be released to the public."
