Exclamation Good News - Xperia Webcast !!

I just got from a friend this email about a XPERIA X1 WEBCAST:

The webcast will include a world premiere of Sony Ericsson’s alternative reality thriller and give the first live, in-depth, demonstration of the Xperia™ X1 prior to its global launch. The webcast will air at 1pm (GMT + 1 hour) 8 September 2008. The link to the website that will host the webcast will be emailed to you week commencing 1 September 2008.


To register your interest, please email your name and publication/site details to sonyericsson@bm.com


We will send you a reminder e-card a few days before the announcement on 8 September, with more details and the webcast link.

since it states that you have to include publication/site details I'm assuming this webcast is only for members of the press?

Ok, here's an update. Bad news, the webcast has been moved from Sept 8 to Spet 15.

If they are holding a press webcast, it is very likely the Xperia X1 will be launched very soon. Even the Xperia Panels SDK has been released. All very good signs.

PLEASE NOTE: The date for the Sony Ericsson webcast has changed and is now 15th September 2008 at 1pm (GMT + 1 / BST).

An E-card invite with access details to the webcast will be sent out early next week. Apologies if this has been communicated via another Sony Ericsson media agency.
