Default Production Fault??

Have you checked your xperia today?

Do you have THE CRACK?

It seems that there are production problems with the xperia.

Read all about it here: Cracks in case, check your X1! - xda-developers

Mine has got it... and yours???

It seems that the plastic in use is not okay. Even with normal use, cracks appear in the plastic surrounding the stylus area...

So even YOU could get THE CRACK!!!

In the image in the link from the first post the edge of the stylus slot leading away from the crack looks a bit rough and chipped making me think that in that case it's not a manufacturing defect and might be caused by either the stylus not being pulled straight out or more probably the top of the stylus not being quite aligned with the slot when insterted. From experience I know this sort of thing can happen when you let someone else mess around with your stuff. Some people just gotta force things.

Hey guys, which week was your X1 manufactured? At the xda forum most of the folks whose phones have cracked have had it manufactured in week 44. (remove the battery and look at the plastic strip)

Mine also says 08W44
