Where to see the X1

I was in BB in Atlanta and they did not have it. Anyone know where to see one in person? Is the only place Sony Style stores?

Well i must admit i feel sorry for the people in the countrys that got the X1 after the rest of us. It was pure torture for me so i would hate still to be waiting.

It doesn't come out at bestbuy until the 8th (and BGR has been saying that the black one will show up there too).

There is a rumour on XDA that one shop got a batch recalled, apparently there getting some sort of update/upgrade.

I went to sony style last night in Tampa, Fl and the guy that worked there said they don't have any X1's, not even a floor model, and they won't be out for another week to a week and a half. He said that the Xperia release has been repeatedly pushed back and should be out next week sometime which left me very confused. I told him that i thought the X1a was released last friday to north america and he said that sony's been saying they're going to release it many times but it keeps getting delayed. I was told that all of there pre-orders are sold out. Maybe I was talking to the wrong person but has anyone else been to a sonystyle store and seen the xperia?

SonyStyle in Seattle had them on wed. before black friday but they got recalled for the firmware update. They've been saying that they'll have them on the 8th, but as it looks as though they'll only have the silver, I'll pass.

I waited there on blackfriday over an hour before they opened and upon the doors dropping the manager told me what was up.

i thought best buy was going to carry the black one, but now it looks like both sonystyle and best buy are both silver versions. very disappointing.

I suspect BB will carry it - right now they don't carry anything in their stores

I talked to a Sony Style rep over the phone and he said they will be SHIPPING from their warehouse on the 8th, that is assuming you order early enough to get that batch.
