They only used the SPB Benchmark for the tests. Depending on how the benchmarking tool was designed and the way it gathers the test data, the results could be very different.

Trust your eyes; I don't think the X1 is any slower or responsive than the Omnia.

Em,you're right, n4v1n..As for Omnia, it doesn't have any dedicated 3d accelerator, but X1 had..BTW, X1 still got the best CPU index..

Judging by the review...it can play h.264 at any bitrate/resolution at a solid 24 fps. This seems to go against complaints on the forums. Did Sony fix the problems? I haven't bought one yet, but the video playback complaints was one of the things holding me back.

Just found out: The Xperia DOES NOT have proper 2d video drivers. DAMN.

I dont think its SE's fault, I kinda point the blame in HTC's direction. I bet this is why they have dropped them as future manufacturer for their next handset.

I wonder what is REALLY going on with all of this. What is the REAL reason that no MSM7200/7201 devices have proper drivers?!

I don't really remember WHERE did I read this,
but it was exactly that 7201 processor on HTC misses the driver
which 7200 HAS on SE, I think it was mobile-review....

The X1 has the highest graphics resolution (pixel count) of the three. The test probably didn't take this into account.
