problem with timezone

hi, i live in a timezone which is GMT +5.5,
and how many ever times i set it, it always resets to GMT + 1. Has anyone else faced the same problem?
i have also tried a hard reset, and set the timezone when it asks for it during the initial setup.

any ideas how this can be resolved?

I had sorta the same prob. But in GMT+2 and the problem was it was defaulting to GMT+2 Windhoek but I'm in GMT+2 Helsinki.
This also caused problems with my clock not holding time correctly.

Applying the newest update yesterday fixed this, now it seems it likes to shut down during the night so I won't get to work on time. F*CK!!!

I love this phone but god damn! I've had too many problems with the clock / alarm.
