| I suspect I will get the new X2 if we are unable to upgrade to win 6.5 on the X1 via Sony Though the HTC Leo might be my choice if I go for a non qwerty keyboard Last edited by Reggie3 : 09-19-2009 at 12:14 PM. |

| Currently have the X1 but don't plan on getting the X2. Haven't really examined the specs but to see that they do not plan on providing a faster processor is quite a shame. I am going to assume that the new Windows Mobile 6.5 is going to be more bloated or at least visually intensive and hence I would think it would need a faster processor to keep up. Even right now, I find the X1 runs really slow, while you are trying to check email, listen to podcasts, browse the internet and do SMS. And if the X3 is Android, well definitely not since I am biased towards Microsoft software.

| The uproar on the blog was appropriate. If you look at HTC and their devices, they will offer an immediate update download for their older ones as soon as win 6.5 is available - not only for win 6.5 but for their new 'sense' surface as well. That's customer service. I am really tempted to leave SE behind for the last time and move on to HTC and their 'Leo'.

HTC upgrades SOME of their devices. Precisely out of dozens of phones the ones which get it is TP2 and Diamond2. Apparently NO upgrade to TP, Diamond and HD! So this "great" customer service from HTC is damn selective. |
