Default Is this a good deal?

Hi,

I currently have a SE K800i and is on O2 pay as you go. I ordered an unlocked Xperia X1 from play.com (Play.com (UK) - Mobile - Free Delivery) but don't want to use a pay as you go sim as I think it will cost me a lot when surfing the Internet. I am not a fan of Vodafone and not really prepared to pay more than £45pm on 02! So I got contract phone from 3mobile on a Mix & Match 300 tariff with free voicemail, unlimited 3 to 3 minutes, and Skype with a free Nokia 6500 Slide for £15pm. I also added Internet Max in which I get 1GB of data per month plus unlimited ISP and work email for an extra £5pm. Therefore I will be paying £20pm, but I am not sure if a mix of 300 text and x-network minutes is enough for a month. And I also read in some threads (not sure if here or in other forums) that you can access the Internet with the Xperia X1 even without a sim, so do you think that extra £5 p/m isn't really necessary?

Thank you in advance..

Roy

If you want to access the Internet without a SIM-card you have to be close to a WLAN. The phone works perfectly without a SIM-card and you can also setup the phone to not use anything but WLAN to access the Internet.
