| I send it back so many times and the problem still wasn't fixed that I decided to give up. The Xperia also came into the pictures so it didn't matter to me anymore. I'm still not able to use the 3G band on the phone, though it did work when I first got it and it worked for 2 weeks after the first (real) repair job but after that dead. And the repair centre just didn't want to listen. After changing provider (and data plan) not being able to use 3G helped a little bit with the data traffic getting reduced. So I didn't care. It worked fine for the rest. (Still hate the fact that I can only listen to music for 6 1/2 hours straight with 4 mail boxes checking every 30 min, before the battery dies)

| My X1 seems to be acting proper now. Interestingly enough, the battery seems to acheive peak performance after the first few charges, something about the way that Li-ion batteries work. I find that data connections do not suck power as much as I previously thought, even leaving programs open isn't that much of a problem. The screen however is a big problem. Anyway, one thing I notice tho is that the screen is a big power hog, and that a quick press of the power button will turn off the screen. Ensuring that the screen is black and not just dimmed is important. |
