| Hi all, just got mine recently and am still getting to grips with getting around it and have a question. Is there any way to have a date that there's an appointment highlighted, either on the panel with the clock and stuff or when you go into the calendar itself? |

| Thanks Fierce, not exactly what I was looking for though Like if you go to calendar->menu->view->year it just tells you all the dates that appear in the year, I'd like to have my appointments circled with a colour I chose when making the appointment. And similarly on the panel itself.Another couple of questions (I'll probably have a lot more) 1. Is it possible to put a link to a contact into an appointment? Are there other calendar programs that might be able to do these things? 2. Can I use a file as a ringtone without having to drop it into the ringtone folder? | If you want colourful appointments you have to use one of the available applications f.e. SBSH PocketBreeze. Try it out, the trial version is fully functional. Linking contacts to an appointment: You add them under 'attendees' in the appointment options;

| You have to load your contact list to your computer from your old phone first and import it to outlook contacts. Then you sync the whole thing with your X1. The particulars and programs differ from phone to phone. There are a few threads (here and on other X1 forums) of the how tos.

| Thanks. That's just great. To get the calendar to see the contacts that are already on the phone i need to install software onto my comp and then transfer the contacts back and forward. I tried installing outlook onto my laptop with limited space (1.8Gb free) on C: but space on other drives, the install to D: 'encountered a problem' and gave up and left me with 500Mb on C and I have no idea what's taking up the space. |
