Default Silver X1 finish, extremely vulnerable to scratching?

I've been wondering, does the chrome finish on the silver xperia x1 "scratch" up easily? I'm not saying from hard objects, but from rough fabrics or stuff. Just wondering.

I'd presume that rather the black finish is vulnerable to scratching if it's laquered in some way.
I think since the silver surface is silver metal, scratching would only reveal another silver color...

I think the X1 is stainless steel - Which is why the black surface is probably more vulnerable to showing scratches.

My black X1 had an unfortunate meeting with my keychain in my handbag - an ugly, but fortunately small silver scratch was the result. So scratch resistance is rather low

I'm waiting desperately for Noreve to get their case out ...

Or rather, invisible skin, as you wont need a bulky case for it.
