installing files

evening guys!!!
i'm having prblems installing new files onto the X1, i can install them on both the phone and the memory card however i can't get them to work, for example i've just got a copy of microsoft word recognition, put it on the memory card, Nothing, put it in program files NOTHING. i must be missing something any ideas????

Are you syncing your phone with the pc?

sorted the syncing out, i had microsoft exchange switched on, swtch it off and select pc and it syncs fine however still cant get x1 to realise i've installed additional applications, show up on program files but not as installed!!!

try uninstalling them and reinstalling through your pc sync.
