Help with Wifi

I am very new at win mo, and I have no idea what is what.

When i try to connect wifi with my x1, and it shows that there is a connection that does not require a password. It tries to connect and never connects properly.

I am wondering if it has anything to do with Authenication and Data encryption.

It has all these choices which i dont know what tehy mean.

If i change those things, would it connect?

Somebody please help me.

it all comes down to the wifi network you connect to
about encryption and password
if it use dhcp
and if it require login using a webpage before it let you on
