Default Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Webcast

Quote:
For those who missed it, here's the second part of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Webcast. I came in a bit late and missed the first part where they talked about Johnny X. In any case, they did mention that the full webcast video will be available on the 17th. Enjoy.

Didn't really say anything we don't already know... Too many times did they say, "We can't divulge the future." Very annoying on that aspect. Of coarse also nothing on pricing/US availability.

Exclamation Slow?!

Hey everyone!
The webcast doesn't say anything new that's true. But if you look closely you can see how slow this thing is... you push a button and you have to wait for like 3-4 sec until it does something. I hope it will be a LOT faster when it will be available. By the way you can see some interesting things on UIQ's web page... look for the showroom in 'This is UIQ' section! If it really works as it shows I hope there will be some UIQ Xperia models in the future!

Here's a new video, showing actually that it's pretty fast compared to recent videos.

Hopefully it'll perform even better, but I'm fine with that...

And no it doesn't show the panels turning, but when are you going to really need that? The panels are for quick access, you're not going to be turning the phone on it's side all the time to access them.

Wow. I am impressed. The screen rotates fast! Can't wait to get it and put this on it:

Right, the phone looks great but it's soooo slow, who wants to wait 3 seconds before each action? Is that a normal functionality and performance?
I like my iphone 3g and i think the new xperia won't catch up with that.
