I just had to uninstall it because it caused horrible delays in all applications and the X1 needed a reset every 10 minutes of use or so. In Vista's Mobile Device Center I had to go through the uninstall process several times before it actually removed it, but now it's gone and the phone is OK.

Shame it seems to cause problems as there doesn't seem to be a way of typing/tapping out sms using the screen on th X1 yet

hey buddy, i dont know how you are connecting xperia through pc. simply install microsoft active sync from microsoft site with mini usb wire. when active sync detects your phone it will show ur phone model on active sync window. then go to tool in active syn there u will find add/remove prog. Simply remove the prog. it will only from your phone not from comp.

Onemore thing you asked in another thred that how to avi. so for that you have download player in xperia which plays avi or convert the file in pc. there is one free and famous convertor is avaliable named "super convertor". it will convert most of the formats to lots of desired format.

The first day I had my X1, I installed TF3D - before reports of problems and nothing but glowing experiences listed on the forums. It was locking up all the time and I couldn't uninstall it either. I was panicking and discouraged - my new expensive phone was screwed.

Fortunately, I'd only put in a few hours into setting it up. I used START>SETTINGS>SYSTEM>CLEAR STORAGE. Which wiped my phone and reinstalled the WM6.1 SE package from scratch (just like the first time I turned my phone on).

WARNING: You will lose all data and configuration changes you have made, and you are responsible for however this works on your phone, but it worked for me.

After that experience, I downloaded SPB Backup which can be configured to archive the entire phone. If you screw something up (as I have done in another couple of stupid moves), you can just do a full restore and you're back to normal.
