This is actually unbeleivable. Why would any phone company in their right mind announce a mobile phone 6 MONTHS before its actual release date?! Im almost certain other companies would bring better phones bofore then.

How can I wait??.. Release right now, X1 may be the best pda phone. APX 2500, Intel Atom, a lots of new techniques can wait for X1' arrival in September??

Cell phone manufacturers typically announce their phones well before they ship. In rare cases, a phone is secret until shipped. So most new technology releases or announcements will follow later than the X1. I would be concerned if the X1 doesn't make it in Sept. The problem with HTC, Qualcomm, etc is the chipset is available to who ever wants to license it and HTC turns out tons of phones, therefore, making WM devices appear out of date or standard quickly.
