A little bit heavier, some minor change in size, but a great 256MB ram upgrade
OMA Data Synchronization (SyncML) feature has been removed as well.

PS: Note "HW 3D Graphics" on page 4

Convenient for SE that Australia (south Asia) and America both use 850 HSDPA. So the X1a could cover both regions. Really disappointed in the recording capabilities, but extremely happy to see the RAM upgrade. Now we just need a release date that is soon. Rumor mill is putting this in the Oct/Nov time frame.

Hi everyone, just joined here.
I honestly have been aching for a physical qwerty keyboard phone and this seems to be the answer. I'm happy to see the RAM upgrade, I hear quite a few negative remarks about the WM 6 running on older phones with many 3rd party apps installed, so hopefully this wont happen here.

shortcut3d, I'm not sure why you are disappointed in the recording capabilites? 30fps is more than I could ask for. I have an iphone, it shoots 5fps so far with no sound

Hi Metallic and welcome to inxperia, I'm kind of a noob here too. The problem with the camera is that the European version will have better video taking abilities, while the US one will be stuck with worse features.

I also noticed the case sizes are different. The US one is thicker by a bit, but the width is less. No problem for me though, I just saw that it supports micro SDHC, which means we'll be able to get like 16GB of extra flash by the time this thing shows up on shelves. Looks like my old zune will be helping to fund my X1!

Hey Mweb586!

I'm sorry, but I didn't even KNOW that there was a EU and a US version already with 2 different specs. I'm going to have to look into that.
BTW I had a 30gb zune... now switched to the new 80gb one

Wow, I'm very pissed that we get QVGA cam shooting. QVGA... my krzr can do that damn it!

Anyone have a decent guess at pricing? and, when they posted the "Video Call Talk Time: 3.1 hours" are going to see a front facing cam too?

Also, does anyone know the size of the WM6 OS, how much will it take out of the 512mb flash mem?

Huh? Different size between the EU and US version? Different specs I'd understand, but different size???
