For those who bought the X1a, I am curious to know what ROM version and date you have from your Device Information screen. I tried using the Update Service software that you have to install to your computer and that got stuck on "identifying phone". I called customer servie and they said that there probably aren't any updates out right now but I did not ask the person on the phone what the most current rom version is.

The version of my ROM is 1.02.948.8 and the date is 09/17/08

So wondering if anyone has anything more recent than this.

There was person writing at XDA devs
that UNCHECKING the USB connection ability on WindowsMobileCenter
helps that issue...
Strange but worked for some people.
