Windows live messenger crash

Windows live messenger wont open for me :/

it was working fine yesturday, but i tried it today whilst i had some free time in work, and it opened then crashed and asked me about sending an error report...i thought this was just a freak accident so i tried again, but it didnt even finish siging me in and it had crashed....i tried it after a reset(via button press and once by removing battery whilst on) and same again.. this is really anoying as i use msn on my phone alot :/

is there anyway i can fix this? i dont want to have to do a storage wipe =[
