Default TouchFLO on X1?

Sorry - WM n00b.

Can these "skins" on WM 6.1 be transferred to another phone? I haven't seen much about the touchflo that seems to demand that it be used with that hardware specifically (except for maybe the volume/zoom via the wheel thing).

I'm guessing screen resolution and stuff as well would mess with it, but is there a community that messes with this kind of stuff?

thx

X1 actually uses TouchFlo. Not the TouchFlo3d app we see on the HTC's but the kinetic scrolling software.

Isn't TouchFlo patented by HTC? I heard that they were somewhat involved in the production of the x1. Would that be it?

Based on the latest webcast with Magnus Andersson I interpreted the panel-surface as uniquely SE. Was I wrong?

HTC is the ODM (original device manufacturer) for the X1, and inherits much of the base architecture and software from their Touch line of smartphones. Those closest being the Touch Pro and Touch HD which have been announced by HTC.

Sony Ericsson is the key designer of the X1 and develops additional software to make it a differentiated product, inline with SE's key signature features (camera app, walkman), look and feel.
