OMG are you serious. this is major bullcrap. what is their problem. why is it gonna take that long. bengalboy already has a proto, its got 128 mb ram and its still awesome so why is it gonna take that long for the release. im deeply dissapointed in se. im not gonna buy any phone until the xperia is out but january? and if it doesnt have a motion sensor and touchflo 3d by then, se will lose ANOTHER loyal customer.
all this time theyve been saying "Q4 of 2008" but JANUARY is 2009 SE!!!!! i thought they also confirmed it would be before 2009. man i just hope that the wait will be worth it or that the site is wrong and it will come out earlier.

That's the U.K. version. Once you hit the X1 link on the page, it then says "To Be Annouced" for the release date. So who knows the truth? I wonder if the U.S. version is hitting sooner than the U.K. version?

Ooops! Both the U.S. site and U.K. site have the same info.

But the sites say two different things and then you have this.

The official site says januari, Bengalboy says Q1 2009, so i'm pretty sure it will not arrive before that date. And maybe it will only be available in black then while i like the metallic more. So Touch Pro it is for me then...

Well, that article saying X1 is an H2 product is dated March. Things could have changed (for the worse) since then.

I got a mail from Sony (The Netherlands) and they are still talking about a releasedate in the second half of 2008.

I'm going to throw the UK link in and ask for clarification why they state 2009
