Question How many GBs?

Hi guys, my first thread here

Since I doubt any of you won't buy a memory card for your Xperia X1, how big will it be and what speed?

I'm not sure if I should get a 16GB Class 6 SDHC card or a 32GB Class 4 SDHC...

PS: very special thanks to the admin on resolving my registration issue

hhhmmm it's microSD cards and I just checked Sandisks site and 8GB is still the biggest they have there
so be carefull buying a bigger one lest you get a normal non microSD card

speed dont matter as current pda's cant keep up with the cards speed only mean anything in the sdcard readers on your computer

this is what i already got

16GB versions seem to be well on their way though

Does anybody know if it's even HC compatible? On the SE product homepage, it only says "microSD". 8GB is enough, but as you always want more it would be quite bad if it doesn't support HC!

it's made by htc and their other devices been hc compatible for awhile now so I feel it's safe to assume it's compatible

maybe some of the preRelease model owners can set you at ease

personally I doubt it will come with a sd-card in the box
I got a 8GB card and plan on getting another 1 at a later point

sometimes SD cards just die and the bigger they are the more you cry
and if you have 2 less trouble

I remember reading the latest X1 whitepaper and it said it supports SDHC up to 32GB (the standard's limit)

Yea I was worried about the speed issues so i sprung for an 8gb class 6. The soon available 16gb I'm sure is like a class 2.

Phew, just yesterday I was browsing through my favourite webshop and wondering what cards to buy to house my cd-collection.

... I better start ripping now to be prepared.

Danny

PS: I hope the Xperia cases have lots of card-pockets
