The unwired.net is generally a very reliable site so I would take this news to be fact until we hear otherwise. This is so cool! If that RAM amount is true, then I can gladly part without an accelerometer... How about you guys?

I think the accelerometer is a gimmick anyways. Th e only time it would come in handy is when you showing photos that are in portrait and landscape. If there is a button to quickly switch from either view, then this would fix this. But other than that, the accelerometer is a complete waist of time, unless we have WM7.

I know the accelerometer isn't that handy but it's one of the best things for games and apps. If you go to this site http://freewareppc.com/ you will see that there is atleast 1 new app everyday that uses the accelerometer and alot of those apps look real nice.

slightly offtopic: on the site, one of the apps that uses it is called G-Alarm and forces you to guide a ball through mazes before you can snooze or stop the alarm ?! now that I want! it also says you can use your finger instead of the accelerometer...
