| Hey guys, I thought the XPERIA wasn't going to have flash lite pre-installed but this guy played some youtube vid's on the X1 through Opera. There are some screenshots of it here http://dailymobile.se/2008/09/07/pic...a-screenshots/ |

| I think what's really important for users about Flash Lite 3.0 is the content that it contains in many of the popular websites. Nothing is more frustrating when using a kickass smartphone like the Xperia X1, only to be stalled at a cool website with a dour message like "Flash player is not installed" or "Flash version is not supported" or some other depressing words to the effect. Another thing also is that Flash Lite is browser dependant, so it is up to Opera to work with Adobe to come up with the plug-in that works with Opera Mobile 9.5 AND in WinMo 6.1. Last I heard that the new IE mobile 6 will have Silverlight in it, but not sure about Flash Lite. At the end of the day, I would just like to watch my Happy Tree Friends (www.happytreefriends.com) in my Xperia X1 ![]() |
