Does anyone know if any of the UK (or european) service providers have picked up this device yet? I remember one of the sales guys saying they were targetting the US and scandinavia with the device, so i'm concerned it wont be out here (Scotland). oh, and hello. ![]()

I would think it that the X1 would be released in the U.S. and the U.K. (at the least) at the same time. It looks like AT&T will carry the X1 in the US, not sure yet in the UK. It should be a carrier that does not require 1700Mhz.

I think there will definitely be a US version. The whitepaper (while it is neither final nor official) does state a difference there will be in the US version (the difference is due to the different version of the Qualcomm CPU that they must use to sell in the US; for details about this google the qualcomm broadcomm ip lawsuit). Perhaps only the US version will utilize the 1700 band. This is just speculation, but I hop that this is the case.
