Have not seen this question answered - though I have been away for a few day to Steamboat and may not have read through all the treads here.

Don't have an x1 yet, but judging from the pics and videos, it looks like it has a lot of glare. But an anti-glare screen protector from Pdair should do the trick

actually its outside visability is meant to be really good, almost as good as the iphone

Its great, I have absolutely no trouble seeing the screen when its sunny out.
