| Hey all , just wondering if you think the rumors are true that the battery will last 1 day with extensive usage. That would be awesome indeed. But just to power the screen and the backlight keys, wifi, etc., I think this might be a stretch. Also is it safe to assume a price of around ~$1000? |

| Well sure when you look at it that way it is a lot to power. The better way to look at it would be to compare it to a similar device. Lets take the tilt. This has a bigger and higher resolution screen (800x480 3" vs 320x240 2.8"). Thats the only thing that will suck more power. On the other hand, you have a bigger battery (1500mah vs 1350mah i think). Also, the Xperia uses the Qualcomm 7200A, the 65nm version of the same cpu from the tilt. 65nm = less cpu power usage. I think the battery life will be slightly to noticably better than that of the tilt. That is just my guess/opinion. Also (as I have heard from a friend who works at SE) Tmo should be carrying this device, and they want it to compete with the tilt. Therefore, I think the price will be much more reasonable. | Hey thanks for the reply. I'm planning on picking this phone up without a contract so I'm assuming it will be much higher than the price with contract. Oh and i doubt t-mobile will carry this phone for a while at least, because of the screen shot of the at&t experience panel seen on a demo unit. |
