| I just tried to install the application (previously used it on my TyTn II flawlessly), though i received an error right at the end informing me that "An unrecoverable error occurred in Setup. Reset the device and try again". First question, has anyone else received this message during install? Even though this error popped up, the application did seem like it was installed. I could fire up its settings applet and make changes to the options. I attempted to access the voice command prompt using my headset (on my TyTn II I only had to hold down the back button for a moment and the beep would be played in the earpiece signalling me to say my command), but no beep was played, and the mic symbol did not appear on the handset. I read up on the X1s successes with the application and found out that the voice command action had to be assigned to a phyiscal button for the application to work, so i assigned the right soft key and tried again. Again, the headset did not work, though, using the right softkey did. I had a look at the XDA devs post wrt making some registry changes (updating the path value), and this did not seem to resolve the headset issue for me. So has anyone else run into problems using the X1, MSMVC and a bluetooth headset. I have listed the hardware setup below incase anyone needs to compare: TyTn II + Jawbone II headset: Worked TyTn II + Blueant headset: Worked X1 + Jawbone II headset: Headset does not work, softkey does. My Ideal solution would be to not have to map a softkey (perhaps a virtual softkey! ) and have the ability to access the voice command prompt from the headset. Thanks, Jayz1220 |
