replacing vodafone panel with google panel!!

hi.. just found this thread (Google Panel on Vodafone X1) on another forum.. for those with vodafone x1.. someone called hutchy found a way to unlock the vodafone panel and put the google panel back..

by unlocking the vodafone panel.. i think we could also unlock the today panel.. not sure though but will try when i receive mine later today..

Hi Was thinking of buying from O2 shop today... I wonder if the process is the same for the 02 panel?? any thoughts?
