Just got My X1 but not happy

I received my X1 today, but I found that the arc slider is not as solid as people stated. And I can clearly see a big gap between the screen and the keyboard part.

Anyone has an idea whether it is normal or not?

I have the same gap in mine too. But the thing has to move, so how close were you expecting it to be? Mine isn't that shaky, and I expected some play as it is a moving part afterall. Nonetheless, if you tried out other sliding phones, the X1 is already very solidly built.

I guess time will tell eventually how well built the sliding mechanism is. For now, it feels solid and smooth.

WHoa! I would try and return that unit. Thank God mine isn't like that.

Think the gap is normal. After all, it is an 'arc' and so you can't expect the top to be flat on top of the bottom part.
