| I had an hour long phone call using Skype on my X1, running over Wifi to my home broadband router. I must say, the performance of Skype is very good, audio quality was decent with very little lag (this was a call from HK to US). The hour long phone call used Wifi quite heavily and used up about 20% of battery life, which is quite ok knowing that Wifi sucks a lot of power. Very please with this performance. |

| I think that is a common 'problem' with Skype. I read similar issues on the TyTn II with it.

| I haven't tried with wired or bluetooth headsets yet with Skype. Perhaps I can test that next time. There is a FREE app called A2DPToggle, which apparently can intercept audio outputs to the currently paired and connected A2DP bluetooth headset. check Teksoft - Future Teknology |

| I made a SkypeOut call using my X1 to a fixed line in US, and it worked very well. For other people to call you, you will need to have a SkypeIn number. A PC to X1 call should be possible as a Skype to Skype call, but not sure whether a video call is possible. The skype application may not make use of the phone camera, but this is worth checking out. |
