Thumbs down video acceleration?

Can anyone tell me if there have been any advances in trying to get the HW video acceleration to work with coreplayer and/or other players? Seems as though the touch HD is playing high quality video waay better than the X1and they have the same chipset. Maybe someone could rip the drivers from the HD?? Just a thought as I have no experience with this kind of thing.

What players are you using with HD? Maybe is not the HW it might be the implementation of the player.

I don't have an HD, but from the reviews Coreplayer is playing hi quality videos very smoothly.

media player sure dont seem the best player choice
