| After setting up access to my Gmail account through the native email tool, when I do a send/receive, I get and error saying: "Cannot connect with current connection settings. To change your connection settings, tap Settings. etc..." The only time I can do a successful send/receive is when my X1 is connected to my laptop - then I get all my emails. I have already appplied Windows Mobile 6.1 Hot Fix for Sending POP and IMAP E-mail. I suspect some settings might be wrong - everything else is working fine. Am even getting 3G in SoCal using AT&T on MediatNet. My settings are as follows: Access point name: wap.cingular Domain: <blank> Proxy Setting Proxy Server: wireless.cingular.com HTTP: wireless.cingular.com:80 WAP: <blank> Secure WAP: <blank> Socks: localhost:1080 Could anyone help? Thanks in advance. |

| Thanks guys. I did everything that was suggested. Someone in another forum pointed me to the solution. As it turn out, gmail doesn't work off proxys with AT&T. The automatic setup for AT&T had the proxy checked. All was needed is to take out the proxy and just keep the http settings. Working now! |
