Default Orientation sensor or Motion Sensor ??

Can I ask a question??
I read this pdf and It seems that Xperia will not equip any sensor ( Orientation sensor or Motion Sensor). Is it true?
Here is the specification of X1...

Certainly, Windows Mobile 7 will need a motion sensor or somethings like that.. It makes me bored..

i am surprised SE did not include an accelerometer. i would think they would have one for the camera photo orientation at a minimum. i have noticed in videos the screen does not rotate automatically when turned horizontally. this could simply be software and SE is hiding the accelerometer functionality similar to Nokia with the N95. it also a must to compete with with the iphone.

Maybe you're right. I searched in gsmarena.com and found that N95 doesn't have orientation sensor (like Iphone). SE was successful with W910i so I hope that SE continues using it and now they're just hiding this function in X1 (for marketing or other purpose).

Yeah anyone who can see would know that SE are targeting those people who would buy the iphone, and those people who would buy a WM PDA. So i think it would have an accelorometer.

Note that Nokia just released a firmware update for the N95-2 (2100MHz 8GB model) that enables automatic screen rotation. We've known it had this functionality for sometime b/c the camera photos will automatically orientate. It was just not advertised.

Opsss, when I compared X1 with HTC Cruise. I suddenly saw this.

Features OS Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
Messaging SMS, MMS, Email, Push E-Mail, IM
Browser WAP 2.0/HTML (IE), RSS feeds
Games Yes + downloadable
Colors Solid Black, Steel Silver
Camera 3.15 MP, 2048x1536 pixels, autofocus, video(VGA@30fps), flash; secondary videocall camera
- Built-in GPS receiver
- A-GPS function
- Java MIDP 2.0
- FM radio with RDS
- MP3/AAC/MPEG4 player
- Motion sensor (with UI auto-rotate)
- TrackID music recognition
- Picture editor/blogging
- Organiser
- T9
- Built-in handsfree
- Voice memo/dial

TrackID is certainly out of the X1 specs. I mentioned about motion sensor, as this text, X1 will equip an accelerometer. In all clips I saw, SE didn't show it off. Can anyone confirm this information??
Accelerometer is quite necessary for a hitech mobile these days. Example, HTC will show HTC Diamond in May 6th, new terminator,... maybe..

the Motion sensor on X1 means this thing is ready from windows 7 upgrade down the road. This is good news.

I did ask about TrackID and the SE rep said that the X1 will not have it, unless of course they're adding it at the last minute.

As for the X1 vs Cruise, for me, the screen resolution is enough to say that it's no contest.

TrackID is certainly out of X1 specs but we can install this application by 3rd party. I compared X1 with Cruise just because Cruise has been my favourite pda phone before.
And... Can anyone confirm that X1 will have a motion sensor or not??
