Default Top Smartphones

For months on months, i waited for the Xperia to be released. But now that it is finally here, im starting to wonder about some of the other phones currently on the market... I absolutely LOVE the Xperia, but i just dont have enough money anymore... So, with that said, i have a few questions... I have a few phones in mind, and i'd like to get you guys' opinions of them. Ive done some research, but still havent completely answered all my questions. So thanks in advance to anyone who replies! Thanks guys!

Opinions of the following please..
I may also have extra questions, which i will put in ( ):

1.) Omnia, and Behold (by the way, are these the same phone?)

2.) Tocco (is this an old version Omnia? or different phones completely?)

3.) HTC Touch Pro, and Fuse (which is better? differences?

4.) Sony Erricsson C905

I am also interested in the LG Renoir and the Samsung Pixon, but im pretty sure they wont work with 3G in the USA... Will they?

Thanks alot guys.
Any other phones that you care to mention are more than welcome.

HTC Pro is not much cheaper than Xperia.
I've heard Omnia is badly manufactured and has big software flaws.

I've been looking at the HTC Fuse as well. I love the Xperia, but AT&T has contract pricing with the Fuse. S-E really dropped the ball not getting the X1 to be offered by ANY carrier. I just can't justify dropping $800 on a device.

If they'd just give us the word in some way that it is coming to AT&T, even down the line, then I might wait, but at this point, I'm tired of waiting for this phone.

Has SE ever had a high-end smartphone subsidized by AT&T in the U.S.?

I wasn't aware that S-E ever had what I would call a "high end" smartphone at all.

1. The Omnia (~$500 USD) has Windows Mobile and has pretty good features like a 5mp camera, GPS, WiFi. The behold is a device available with T-Mobile here in the states and it is NOT a smart phone. Its most notable feature is a 3mp camera.

2. Tocco is old and also NOT a smart phone.

3. The Fuse is the ATT version of the Touch Pro. I would get the Fuse because it is cheaper and has US 3G. You can always flash a new ROM. (~$500 USD)

4. The C905 has all the features of a smart phone like WiFi, GPS, and big 8mp camera. But, it doesn't have a smart phone operating system which limits things quite a bit.

I recommend the HTC Touch Diamond. You can get one unlocked and brand new for under $500 or even low as $400 used. I have one right now and am loving every minute of it.

Whats the difference between the Touch Diamond and the Touch Pro? Why do you recommend the Diamond? Isn't the Pro the newer better version of the Diamond? Or is the Diamond better? Whats the difference?

PS. Is the Renoir or Pixon US-3G capable? I heard rumors of a US version Renoir but i cant find any information on its release... Anybody know if its possible to use these phones in the US with 3G?

PPS. What does everybody think about the Omnia? Im really considering it...

The Pro has a keyboard and a microSDHC slot. Whereas the Diamond is stuck with the on screen keyboard and 4GB of internal memory. If you can afford it get the Pro, I cheaped out and got the Diamond, but that's because I was tired of my old phone and needed something with a high resolution screen.

I really wouldn't know about either, I probably won't ever buy a non-WM phone.

Great phone. Make sure to get the 16GB version.
If you don't like a phone after you bought it than you can just ebay it and try a different one. After this thing I'll probably try the Omnia as well before stepping up to the Xperia or whatever I like best.
