Update contact list on phone?

hey all


i want to do a factory reset of my xperia and i dont want to lose my contacts. so i decided id try activesync. i tried it with one contact first, but when i plugged in my X1 into my XP pc and ran activesync it took the contact i deleted off my phone out of my outlook address book, instead of replacing it.

is there anyway i can get it so that it will update the phone instead of my outlook?

i dont want to have to write em all in again :'<

You have to tell it what to sync with and you get to select which way data flows. Do a help on activesync

use dash wire, it works great for contact backups/restores.
