To Those Just Now Receiving XPERIA X1As from Sony Style...

To those who are just now receiving their XPERIA X1a's from Sony Style, can you look and tell me some information? ROM Version/Date.

You can access this information by, from the today screen, Start > Settings > System Tab > Device Information. The information should be listed on that screen. I am interested whether or not these re-released X1a's have different firmware on them. For reference, I received by X1a from SS in November.

ROM version: 1.02.948.8
ROM date: 09/17/08

sometimes when a phone is this young new builds can come out monthly, but in this case SE managed to get it right in many areas the first time. Who knows if there is even a new build coming at all. for all we know their software developers think that they are done fixing/developing the x1...

At CES there were 4-5 Xperias, all X1i models, all (i think) ith the 9/17 rom.

I did some side-by-side tests of switching between panels and stuff and it was about 50-50 mine beating out the newer rom, maybe even more often. Weird, eh?

Wasn't this god forsaken phone supposed to be released in stores like Best Buy on Jan 12? Has anyone bought one in a store instead of online? Has anyone bought one from Sony Style? I'm really fed up of waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell is wrong with Sony!?!?!
Is it too much to ask to get a phone in our country let alone one that doesnt have so many problems that I've seen written about in this forum? I've seen the phone, I've played with it and I WANT ONE but it's so discouraging. I'm so frustrated! I can't take it anymore!!! I check this site everyday to see what's going on and as of now, the most recent post is more than 2 days old! I mean, is it over already? Is more coming? Are they gonna make an X2? I want some answers damn it!!!!!!!!!!!
