| I got my X1 quite a while ago and got an 8Gb class 4 memory card. I've not used my X1 much for 2 reasons, the nature of my work is pretty hard on phones so I tend to use an old one, and the X1 is so slow at doing things so it's put me off using it and I've been sticking to my old work phone. The problem with it has been, for example, reading a text message. When I go to read it I get the spinning timer for a couple of minutes before the message is diplayed, I then have to wait another couple of minutes with the spinning timer if I want to make a reply. This would happen with most things, sometimes even trying to open the Start menu and makes the phone pretty much useless. I think I've found where the problem is, the memory card, I've removed it and it seems to be running fine (for now). Anyone else experienced this problem? is there any fix for it so I can use the card in my phone? WTF have sony (or M$) done to screw up the phone when it's got a memory card in? |

| Did you flash a new ROM? Did you try a different micro SD card? I tested my X1: Less than a second to load my messages and I have constantly 100 or more SMS and MMS stored. The same with the mails, there in an instant. I work with a class 6 micro SD card.
