It's getting quiet around the X1

Since some weeks now there hasn't been any news about the X1 (except for the new images). I don't think thats good for the phones reputation. Now so many other phones are being released, the chances are that people don't want to wait anymore. I think it would be best for SE to release some new stuff so that people start to discuss the phone again. Maybe send some new samples to the reviewers.

You can tell it by the topics in this forum. In the beginning it was almost all about the X1, and now people are starting to lean to the iphone, touch pro and so on.

Well all specific fourms is basically a cult, we come here to share the love for the phone, or people who would like to know more about it, we show them why we like and it and why you should like it.

I agree- within the next week or two I think these companies need to get some stuff out there to re-peak the interest in their offerings.

SE (should) know how people feel about their delays in the past so hopefully they have learned and will push this one out on time, ready to roll.

I was dead set on Xperia but I must admit now I am looking hard at the Touch Pro. Each has its pros and cons though and I wish I could make a mashup of both devices lol.

we need to see what the plans really are for the interface of the phone, from what i understand, what have seen with the videos is pretty much a mock up concept over win 6.1. the full functionality UI of the phone is still unknown and what we do know, ran extremely slow.

Yes, It would be a marvel if they should release it next month or so. But that won't happen. I myself am starting to think to buy another one (like the touch pro). It starts with anxious waiting, after that waiting, than looking for some products that are almost the same and what happens after that? We'll see that in a couple of weeks I guess.

The slowness of the interface was better with the last review I thought. Although still slow.

i think all the reviewed phones had only 128mb of ram, so the ram increase alone will help it even before the final code.

I most likely am getting a touch pro if it hits the us in the next 2 months, then maybe xperia in the late fall or whenever it comes out.

I cant wait any longer, my treo 750 is getting old. Ive had it for over a year... the longest i have ever held a single device for.

I have a Nokia N90. It's very old as well. So I want another one before it falls apart. Maybe in the meanwhile I'll get the HTC Diamond. Than I can enjoy the new 3D Touch already.
I hope they put something like that on the X1 as well. I don't think the panels will be a great success.

yeh guys this is getting sooooo unbeleivably annoying, i feel like it would have been better if they haddent of even told us about the x1 in the first place because now its causing a lot of depression. Sony Ericsson, we're all loosing our desire for your device, very slowly but surely.

i just read the diamond an touch pro count hit the US till late 08, maybe the x1 will get released at the same time as these hit the US?

It usually gets quite around a product in preparation of release, so maybe they're all busy to comment or post new pics.
